The Ritual Continues; A Cloud of Fog; The Ritual Fails

The ritual! The ritual! A-boom…chick-a-boom.

~10:00 AM - 💥 in combat 💥

As Sparkrender encourages Elmer to chant along with him to strengthen the ritual, Elmer acts distracted and pretends to lace his boots. His boots have no laces.

Vera starts hurling insults; some clearly strike (something about a left-handed scribble) and some don’t seem to phase him.

Michael continues to strike with his longbow.

The harpies move closer to ensure that Elmer has protection if needed.

I don’t have a lot of other notes here! Here’s the gist.

• The ritual totally fails
  • Sparkrender continues to try to chant and
• Elmer:
  • Created a fog cloud, it wasn’t too windy for it. This caused a tremendous distraction
  • Continued to try to destroy the statues and take shots at Sparkrender where possible
• Vera:
  • More insults whirling around
  • Hard to see Sparkrender in the fog cloud, also focusing on support and destroying effigies
• Michael:
  • LONGBOW LONGBOW
  • Generally focusing on Sparkrender
• Harpies:
  • Taking a fair amount of hits, also flying around the fog cloud trying to help/distract

As the ritual fails

Sparkrender starts flying away to the northeast, but Vera convinces him to swing back real quick and asks once more about Runara’s location.

He says, then continues to fly off.
